Cumulo Nimbus

It is hard to review the lyrics, but the music is definitely grunge/metal influenced.

That said, it is not bad, maybe a little dated, but hell, I am guilty of that as well.

As a band track I would say, go for it. As a track to sell, well maybe.

BTW, I love the Black Sabbath influenced solo.

Personally, I love the track, just not sure how commercial it is.

Coming of Age

As always, a very polished performance. Much less 90's than your other samples.

My daughter likes it a lot and didn't tell me it is "old" music.

I love your stuff, keep it up.

You guys are obviously great musicians and as a band the tune is fine. It is difficult to judge lyrics without them being written.

Again, it sounds like 90's music, not that I care, I just worry about the commeriality.

I love the dynamics, you definitely understand building a tune up, which most songwriters don't .

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Reviews

I think I understand where you wanna go with this song and I can hear the Beatles-vibes. The lyrics are sweet and the melody really catchy! I can hear it being played in a wedding.

BUT: I need to say that the performance is really poor. The sound is bad and I don´t think the singer has a good voice (sorry...). The instruments have that special "done in a computer"-sound to them.

I give the recording 2/5 but the song itself 3/5.

Generally you want the hook in the first 30 seconds and you don't even start the lyric until then!

That said, the groove is classic shuffle rock and is memorable. I don't think this fits country at all, but who am I to say.

It is an interesting "outlaw" kind of lyric, but I think it could be a little more developed. The story is good, but it is one of those 8 out of 10 songs. Very good, but just a little shy of the mark.

One of the problems with sending songs to publishers is that if you don't get a reply you don't know why. I will tell you  this song is good, but if you are trying to sell it, maybe  a little work on story.

I hope that helps.
